For a stretch of a few years, I carried my phone (and, for one trip, a small drone) everywhere with photography specifically in mind — not posed shots, just whatever caught my eye on a walk, a run, or a trip. These are twelve of the ones that stuck with me, from a granite quarry in Bukit Batok to a winter road trip through Western Australia. Consider it a naked-eye photo diary rather than a portfolio.

All twelve were shot on an iPhone (7 Plus for most of these, 6 Plus for a couple of the older Singapore ones), plus a Parrot Bebop 2 drone for a handful of the Western Australia trip. No fancy gear — just whatever was already in my pocket, pointed at something worth stopping for.
