Tech Enthusiast, WhooshPro — a Singapore web design agency

I write about what I’m actually living — tech, money, and the everyday life in between. No filler, no filters. This site is where that lives: three pillars, one identity, one naked eye on all of it.

I’m a born-and-bred Singaporean, and my career has been in the tech industry for most of my working life. I started out as a software programmer after national service, then went on to co-found WhooshPro, a Singapore-based web design agency, with a few good friends — running it has kept me constantly out of my comfort zone, in the best way.

Ten-plus years in now, and the thing I keep coming back to is that this industry doesn’t sit still — so neither can I. Continuous learning isn’t a slogan on a slide for me, it’s closer to a daily habit: new tools, new ways of building, new mistakes to make and not repeat. Some of what I build finds its way into this site’s own Tech posts, adapted from the real client and product work behind it.

I keep the Tech pillar close to what I actually build day to day, Finance to what I’ve genuinely learned managing my own money, and Lifestyle to the parts of life that don’t fit neatly into either — food, travel, running, the everyday stuff. Nothing here is written to sound like an expert. It’s written to be honest about what worked, what didn’t, and what I’d do differently.

“NickedEye” sounds like “naked eye” on purpose — the idea is to see things plainly, without the filter. That’s still the whole premise of this site.
